Windows Media Player - skipping tracks?

Have HTC solved the problem that occurred on the E200 with WMP, whereby it would randomly skip tracks mid-song when stored on the SD card? I'm thinking of upgrading to C500 shortly and want to know this has been solved...

I havent experienced anything like this on my C500, and I use WMP a lot!
