Unknown SIM Status Error

Hi,

After I upgraded to WM 2003 Everytime my phone turns on I get an error message stating Unknown Sim Status (Error 0).

Can anyone enlighten me as to how to fix this problem?

is the sim holder clip on the back of your phone broken? if so you can use a piece of folded paper and insert it between the battery and the sim so that the sim would stay in place.

well, he did say that this is happening only after he upgraded to WM2003... hmm... strange... did you install the rom correctly? check the sim clip, just in case.

Hi,

Sim clips are fine - even tried the paper trick. Nothing! When I upgraded to 2003 there were no problems and I followed all instructions.

Any more ideas?

After doing the update to 2003 did you remember to do a Hard Reset?

I have done 2 hard resets to no avail. The problem still persists. Should I try and re-install the 2003 update? Is it possible to do that?

If you are 100% positive that the SIM is not to fault then you may as well rerun the 2003 update.
