Orange just changed my c500 but....

...its come in a different colour - silver - and the roller/action key thing is different. The whole roller seems to push in while on my other c500 just a small button on the roller was pushed in.

Does that make sense? I want to make sure I've been given a newer model not an older one.

Does anyone know if the design of the roller has been changed?

Sounds like its a revised model.....

I want a black one, is it possible to specify which colour you want while ordering online? I know theres a comment box but will they act on colour requests?

ps does your new c500 still have the games problems?

The silver version was only available to premium subscribers - not us mere mortals. Personally prefer the black one but silver is more "elite".

Not sure what you mean about the button tho'. The whole rocker thing pushes in on my black one and AFAIK, all of them.

What software version do you have on your new one?

on my previous black one there was a small silver button on the rocker that pushed in, the rocker as a whole did not push in. On this new one there is no button but the whole rocker pushes in.

how do I check the software version? what is the current version?

pgm316 - i didnt specify a colour but am sure if you ask they'll accomodate your request, i think black is standard. i dont know about games - i dont have or play any!

On my C500 (black) there is a raised bit in the middle of the rocker but when you push it the whole rocker is pshed.

Start->Settings->About Mine shows V4.21.1088 (Build 14132)

Radio Version 1337.0.27_0.03.12

I believe different countries will have different Versions. I'm in England.
