Guest Brody Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 If you know the file name there is a find function in smart explorer, give that a go ^_^
Guest busby Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 Tried using the search facility upset now this is happening with every file someone sends me
Guest bassmental Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 alright mate use FILE MANAGER its in ACCESSORIES
Guest Brody Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 Its not a file manager he's after, he has Smart Explorer!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Ok back to basics are you sure that the files are being copied across?
Guest busby Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 File shows as being received ok on the phone but it's not going into my documents I'm using the c500 at the moment but I've had the three previous spv's and the files just arent going into the same place
Guest rhysdean Posted November 1, 2004 Report Posted November 1, 2004 I think that you cant save files over 500kb if receiving over bluetooth it may be an even lower size, i have tried sending and recieving from a e200 and c500 with no luck, with large wav tones etc, the files would be in /Storage/My Documents/ if lower than 300kb say try lower file sizes or use the zip function in smart explorer when sending to other spvs, hope this helps
Guest stretchie Posted November 1, 2004 Report Posted November 1, 2004 I have a C500, I have sent files in excess of 3.5mb BUT have not tried receiving any large files, if it can send it I presume it can receive it. I have taken upto 1mb from another BT device. Hope this helps...
Guest busby Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 the files I've been trying to receive have all been songs between 3 & 5 mb think it must be the file size
Guest stretchie Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Unfortunaltey I do not know anyone else with a smartphone, so no-one else has a phone that can hold or send large files to me :-( so I cannot test it myself either (does that mean I'm playing with myself??????? )
