SPV500 has no Bluetooth menu to discover a Bluetooth device

I have just bought a JABRA BT250 Blue tooth Headset for my Orange SPV 500 and the blue tooth menu on the phone only has "on", "off" or "Discoverable". There is no "Discover" option to allow me to detect the Bluetooth headset. Does the phone require an upgrade or do I need to do something else to make it discover?? Any ideas?? :?

You mean some kind of 'search for other bluetooth devices' button? I dont think it's possible, then again its got to be becuase others are using headsets etc.

RTFM... 8)

If you are in the bluetooth menu press the right button below the display (in german "menü", in english possibly "Menu" ?), then 1 for devices, again the right button for menu, point 1 for new .... and then your C500 is searching for new devices

Thanks Peter. All sorted. The manual doesn't mention this at all.

I don't know what manual you've got but it's on page 93 of the "Guide to using your SPV C500" that came with mine. ^_^

Available here.
