Hi,

I recently recived a load of unsorted programs for the SPV from a freind and I am having some problems. Alot of the programs have just an XML file and .001 file and I was wondering how you install them on a SPV e 200

Sounds like you are installing CAB files.

Installing CAB (.cab)/ .hme files

CAB (.cab) file is a relative of ZIP (.zip). Though it looks like a .zip file and uses the same icon, it should not be unzipped. CAB format applications should be copied into your Smartphone 'as is' and installed from there (see procedure). 

1. Active synch your phone 

2. Copy .cab files to IPSMWindowsStart MenuAccessories 

In your phone...Click Programs > (more...) > Accessories 

3. Select the .cab file 

4. Press Action (joystick) 

5. Select where do you want to store the application 

(this screen appears when you have Storage Card installed) 

Note: CAB files (installer) will automatically be removed from your memory after installation. You can also copy the CAB file into to your Storage Card and install from there. Of course, you need Smart Explorer (and the like) to make this possible
