Guest duncan888 Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Do you get charged calling 150 on Orange?
Guest squall Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 its free from contract handsets. P&g have a different number and do get charged as i understand it
Guest hotphil Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 No charge, just as well when they make you listen to Insania 4 times in an hour whilst on hold.
Guest amo Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 I must admit, although Im on the phone to various Orange departments more than the typical user - its kinda sad that I know which song is gonna be played next in the hold music. :|
Guest hotphil Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 you were on hold for an hour?! Have been several times recently. And that's not on hold why they look into my query - that's on hold waiting to speak to a first point of contact. I must be very unlucky when I ring. Believe me, after 30 repititions the phrase "your call is important" starts to lack sincerity, after 70+ repititions you start to calculate if it would've been quicker to drive to Bristol and stab the nearest Orange rep in the head. Don't get me wrong, almost everyone I've spoken to at Orange is great but there just doesn't seem to be enough of them for the several hundred quid a year they have off me.
Guest pisquee Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 I would never hang on hold that long, I would always hang up and call back later. But that scenario has never really happened to me with orange.
Guest Lady Marmalade Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 I won't mention that Business Customer Services (158) answer the phone within 6 rings, 24x7... if it's not specifically about your account, you may get away with using them instead... Lady M.
Guest pisquee Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 345 are pretty good too (small business customers line)
