Coding for Pocket Internet Explorer w/ local inline images

Has anyone had any probs with PIE and inline images at all?

I can view pages over GPRS, and the images come in just fine. I can view pages locally - that i've created in notepad, but the images just don't appear.

I've tried having the html and gif files in the same folder and just calling them by their filename, I've tried calling them by .image.gif and i've tried file://Storage Cardimage.gif

and on all occasions, the page loads but the images don't.

I've also tried both .jpg and .gif versions and neither are working.

Anyone got any ideas about this

never mind - turns out that earlier in the img tag i was trying some JScript stuff and forgot to close my double quotes.
