Guest Myke Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Are there any sound tweaks to make the in call volume louder? The incall volume is way too low, especially when talking to another person using the mpx220. The second speaker phone setting would be a good volume. Theres gotta be some kind of tweak to make it go louder
Guest Romeo36099 Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 How loud is the speakerphone, is it really really loud or does it suck?
Guest Myke Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 its pretty loud. no complaints there. well it would be sweet if you could speakerphone while the phone is shut. there might be an option somewhere im not sure. but yeah its pretty loud unless the person on the other line is talking like a wuss

Guest aychseven Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 i've had people tell me its hard to hear me with the new phone. anyone else experience this?
Guest Godfather Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Ya I'm getting the same thing, I can barely hear the person when I walk through a crowd and also every person I talk to says i sound quiet and I gotta scream for them to hear me. It sucks!! The MPx200 was a whole lot better than that. The speaker phone is ok, but again that could also be louder. And it would have been nice if they could have allowed the phone to be closed when the speakerphone is on. I hate that I have to have it open and then the speaker isn't loud enough when driving and I gotta turn the speaker to me just to hear the person. Just a pain! They call it a smartphone well the people making it need to be smarter. But I'm not saying they did a horrible job, just could have done better. Especially after they extended the release for like 8 months. If they released it then the phone would have been ok, just that over that period of time I expected it to be way more and now that I expected to much from it, it doesn't appeal to me. Even though it's the only (newest) clam shell smartphone out there and I'll most likely take it back and get the Audiovox SMT 5600, this phone just has too many problems for me. If they do decide to come out with updates and fix it then I'll get it, but like everyone has said, we all know that Motorola and ATT aren't very popular when it comes to releasing updates.
Guest MotoBaller Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 aychseven: yea I have had the same problem my girl tells me its like I am talkin far away....but i can hear her perfectly....is there a way to fix this?
Guest cortez Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 i'm on my third MPx220; the first 2 had mic and earpiece volume problems, but this one has been working fine.
