Guest teyjohn Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Hi guys... I just bought an MMC Card (Apacer 256MB). And.... I was wondering if the O2 Xphone is capable of using the card. I tried putting the card in, and... it shows a message "Do you want to format the card?"... And, I click "Yes". And, the card is formatted. But, when I go to the file explorer, I cannot locate the "Storage Card" folder. Why is that? So, after seeing this, I took out the card and put it back in... And, it asked again, whether I want to format the card or not. Why? I thought it was already formatted. Isn't it? Anyone have any idea how to solve this problem? Please help.... Any help would be greatly appreciated. ^_^
Guest BrAGoL Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 can you cancel it first? and have it formatted with SP Task Manager instead... Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest teyjohn Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 But, it does not work... When I try to format it using the Task Manager, it give me an error.... Saying "Error... cannot format". What seems to be the problem? ^_^
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 The E200 Xphone etc do not like dual layer memory cards, this could be the problem. It may also be that the card is just not compatable with the phone. I had exactly the same problem with a kingmax 256MB card and my MPX200.
