Orange Answer Phone

This is annoying.

I picked up my answer phone messages and deleted them all but I still have the little tape icon for a new message. No matter what I do I can't get rid of the little bugger.

Any ideas??

This is an old one.

After deleting the messages, you don't want to hang up until the icon goes of its own accord. Takes a couple of extra seconds is all.

Just in case you misunderstood, you have to stay connected to Orange answerphone after you delete the messages and wait until the icon goes before pressing the red 'hang-up' button.

It should clear itself next time you go in.

Otherwise, yes, phone Orange and get them to sort it :wink:

or leave yourself a new voicemail, and then go and delete it, but wait til the icon clears this time before hanging up.

OK all sorted. Apparently they did not have the refresh on needed to clear the symbol.
