txt file and association(s)

Hi all,

I have a problem with the C500, and one that has me very confused.

I have a .txt file on the phone, and normally this opens with IE. I changed the association to open with "Orneta Notepad", so that I can edit/save a text file. This works great.

However, I want the Permanent asssociate to be wih Iexplorer (i.e. IE), and if I want to use notepad, I'll choose "open with".

The problem is the file won't open in IE - it launches, but it doesn't open the file anymore! :cry:

Has anyone come across this?

The reason I want it to open in IE is because it puts it into a small font (good for reading a long text file), but Orneta Notepad is great if I then want to edit it.

I'm sure if I do a hard reset, the problem will be solved. But I want to try and work it out before giving up and doing the reset.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The registry must have become corrupt.

I have done a HARD RESET, and it works fine now (the txt file opening in both IE and notepad).
