Guest BigFas Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Hi guys, Newbie here and need some help. I've got an SPV C500 on the Orange network. I've also got a Nokia CARK112 carkit which works flawlessly with my Nokia 6210 handset. However, getting it to work with the C500 is another story. My handset can see the carkit and it successfully pairs, however, I cannot select "make handsfree" function and as such cannot use the carkit with this phone. And the manual is of no help at all Is anyone aware of compatibility issues between these two? Any ideas? It's getting annoying changing my SIM card over to the 6210 everytime I get in the car. Thanks in advance for any help

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 10, 2005 Report Posted April 10, 2005 Do you have the option to set as handsfree in the bt settings?

Guest Confucious Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 I remember from the days when I had a t68 that Nokia car kits would not work with the t68 because Nokiaused there own "interpretation" of teh BT standards and there car kits would only work with there own phones (and IIRC not even all of them!) I don't know if this is still the case as I'm goiung back a while now and would hope that Nokia have got their act together by now. HTH
