Guest hulk2 Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Ciao is it possible to install java games on my c500 how?? :? thanks
Guest siliconslave Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 copy the .jar file to the file system somewhere, browse to it on the phone, click and it opens the java manager thing and installs. Alternatively open the java thing up and hit the right soft key, select install and follow your nose ^_^
Guest craigp Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 [NEWB alert  ] Are the Java games affected by the C500 graphics problem? ... and are there any good Java games around?? Craig
Guest clonmult Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 I don't see why the Java games should suffer the same gapi problems, its a totally different subsystem. There are some quite good games for Java - Colin McRae 4, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, Rainbox Six 3, 3D pool. All on my Moto V525 though. Haven't got a C500 yet, so don't know if they'll work or not.
Guest mikekirk Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Good luck getting them to work. It seems a lot of Java games are coded for extensions for specific phones such as Nokia. I've only managed to find one game that works, and that's flakey.
