Guest au_alex Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 After upgrading my MPx200 to: WM2003 Version: 4.20.0 (Build 13349) Radio: 1.0 I am unable to send SMS. Receiving SMS is perfectly fine. When a new SMS is sent, the following error is returned: "The following errors occurred while sending and receiving mail: Your SMS message has not been sent. Verify that you have network coverage and then try sending the message again". The phone has a clean install of WM2003. No non-standard applications are installed. The GSM patch has been applied. Master reset has been done. Any suggestions, anyone?
Guest otacon Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 The only problem I faced with sending sms is when my phone is out of memory space. When this happens, the phone cannot send the sms. But with an error message like yours, I think it's your settings that are not correct. Check your settings with your service provider.
Guest ronny Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 Maybe have the wrong sms service center number, you can try to check it at Settings > Phone > Call options
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 Check the nuber you are sending to is correct and also check that you have good signal. I have seen this problem before due to the above.
Guest au_alex Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 "Service center number" was not set. Start - Settings - Phone - Call Options. Thanks, everyone.
