how to setup Mpx220 Outlook POP email?

I just got the MPX220 from Cingular and I can't figure out how to configure outlook to send and receive email with my pop account.

So it seems to do it on 2002, but that doesn't work on my phone.

When I'm in Outlook, I choose Menu>Options>Account Setup and then Menu>New and I get what looks like the beginning of a POP acct setup screen but the 'Next' softbutton is grayed out. Has this feature been disabled or something? I've seen no information about this on the forums so I figured it was just me.

well, after i went to the favorites and choose 'start services' an error message provided me with this address:

http://cingular.startwindowsmobile.com/

which is apparently sends configurations to your phone via SMS.

of course it isn't working.

Is anybody pushing Cingular to support this phone? Tier 1 support has never heard of it. Tier 2 says they won't get any info on it and can't support it until it's released in the Cingular stores.

I can use it as a phone and a wap browser but nothing else. The account configurtion seems to be locked and the only way to set it up that i've seen so far -- http://cingular.startwindowsmobile.com won't send SMS's to my phone. I've gone through it 3 times and received a confirmation number but my phone gets no message (even though my phone's SMS is working).

Unfortunately you may not get an answer straight away as the phone is so new to the Smartphone community it can take a while before the knowledge base is built up.

Hope you have your problem sorted soon.
