Guest tmaniac Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 hey folks.... i have a little question. did any1 notice that when listening to mp3z via headphones with wmp on your SPVc500 it sounds like the music is set to a very high treble level? is there any way to boost up the quality of the sound output on headphones to the level of a normal mp3 player? ^_^
Guest Dr Who Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 Yup. Horribly bright. Different headphones may help but I haven't tried it yet.
Guest homer_j_s Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 Try Pocket Music Goto http://www.pocketmind.com/pocketmusicsp.htm Its a good little prog which has many settings (eg. Rock, pop, techno etc...), I found that it didnt really do much with the bass but it can make it less tinny!
Guest tmaniac Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 i tried pm...it does redo the sound a bit...but the XB does not work on c500 ^_^ and i tried different headphones (got an "adapter"plug to use normal headphones) didn;t make any difference either.... isn;t there any other way? :D
Guest Dr Who Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 Don't know if you can do this but if you can find an encoder that will allow you to play with the sound prior to writing your .wma or .mpg you may be able to artificially kill the treble and up the bass.
