e200 software unlock outside UK

Hi all!

I'm in Portugal and i got a sim unlocked e200 on ebay. I'm waiting for it to arrive, but in the meantime i found this thing about the software lock. I want to develop apps for the smartphone, so this is really important to me. do u guys think I will manage to software unlock it here? How do I do it? any person here has some experience in that?

Orange OTA will do it for you ^_^

but im outside Orange.. actually no Orange here in Portugal... will it work with my cell phone company? did u actually unlocked it outside the UK, or it's only in theory? ehehee

(ah..forgot to tell, the ROM version is the latest 2.7.1.1 or something like that)

Yep - any network, any country. Just make sure you have GPRS access or passthrough set up when you unlock ^_^
