Guest clarity Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 I have been playing with my new C500 and I sent myself a test email from my orange.net account to another of my webmail accounts. My longish email sent OK via GPRS but when I checked my receiving account the message was nicely truncated, with the second half completely missing. The copy in my "Sent" items folder on my phone was there in its entirety. There were no attachments to the message. Are there limits on the size of emails you can send from the phone and if so what are they and how do I know when I have reached them? Or does anyone have any idea what is going on? Thanks!
Guest pisquee Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 Were you checking your recieving account on a Pc or the e500? if you were checking on the e500, make sure that you had it set to recieve the whole email, and not just the first xxxK of the data.
Guest clarity Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 I was checking the receiving account on a PC - that's where the email appeared truncated. I also forwarded it to a mate's account and they received it truncated too! Don't have any problems receiving mail on my phone, its the ones sent from my phone that are weird.
