Logitech® Mobile Freedom Bluetooth Headset

I have spent a little time with this remarkable new Bluetooth headset that Logitech will be releasing at the end of October 2004. If you are tired of sounding like you are in a tunnel or not being able to talk while in your convertible, or when driving with your windows down then this is the headset for you. I have also been using the Motorola HS-810, which is a good headset but pales in comparison when put up against the Logitech Mobile freedom.

what's the diff between this model and their earlier but still in production mobile bluetooth model? the old one is also more expensive but comes w a case.

Well the older model is much larger and fits over the head, where as the Mobile freedom is much more compact uses newer technology and clips securly and comfortably on the ear.

The logitech model I use, fits around the ear. and works very well.

The case which is also the charger base is a nice feature and keeps it all

together. Voice dialing works first time, I just need to set my most called

numbers with voice tags :)

I really like this headset too.

But questions:

- have you managed to play music via headset somehow?

- is possible to invoke voice dialing with phone keys locked?

I have this headset and a 5600 - my answer is no to both of those. I can't listen to music through it or dial while the phone is locked. I can deal with the music, but unlocking the phone is a true annoyance.

I think it's an issue with the phone, not the headset.
