eVB nooooob - accessing registry

Sorry for the repost but thought this would be a more suitable section!!

I am usually a delphi programmer - have only done the basics at college!! but i have now learnt the VERY basics of VB and i am just going to create a few useful apps for myself (or others) but i really need to know the basics! so any help there would be much appreciated!

But firstly i would like to know how to read/write registry values??

I am going to create a app to set ringtones - i know there are some out there but i wish to create my own, so how would i change:

"HKCUControlPanelSoundsRingtone0" sound values to a file specified in a text box??

Also, how do you insert an image in eVB? cant find any image dialogs, do you have to use a frame or summat? or call it? (told you i was a noob at this!)
