Speakerphone and Headset problem WM 2003

Hello,

I am having a problem with the speakerphone and headset on my phone that seems to be a bit different than everyone elses.

I am on windows mobile 2003, i have tried hard reset 3 times, and it doesnt fix it. Strangely, the previous owner of this phone said he didnt experience any of the same problems. I am using original motorola headset that came with the phone.

Speakerphone:

when i turn the speakerphone on, the little icon shows up on the display, and sound comes out of the speakerphone for about 1/2 a second. WHen i press any keys on the dialpad, i hear sound from speakerphone for 1/2 a second also. I know the speakerphone works because it plays music

Headset:

when i plug in the headset (original moto headset) , i cannot hear anything when i make a call, but people can hear me. I have tried jiggling it, but nothing works. I know the headset works because i can listen to music using them with the phone. I tried a different motorola headset and have the same problem.

any ideas anyone? ive tried everything i can think of.

Hey guys, I'm the owner he is refering to. I told him to come here, If anyone can help him you guys can.

I sold him the mpx200 with everything working. Is there anything you guys can think of. The last thing I did when it was working was to hard reset it before I shipped it.

Let us know if there is anything you guys know of.
