I heard some reports that this does not work...I am assuming that it DOES but I just want to check.

I've been trying with my new AT&T SMT5600 and it isn't working. When I enter the IMEI and then press Continue, it just cycles back to the page... Nothing happens.

I contacted them. They said that it recycles the page because they set it to do so. Apparently, their method of unlocking isn't working correctly with the 5600 and their engineers are working on it. Hopefully they'll have the issue corrected soon. I really want to keep this phone and use it with Cingular.

They got a copy of the 5600 ROM late Friday night and said in a "few days", so maybe we'll have an unlock by the end of the weekend. ^_^

I HAVE BEEN WAITING ON THIS ALSO. I HAVE CINGULAR ACCOUNT AND BOUGHT THIS FOR WHEN I TRAVEL OVERSEAS. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS.

I ALSO TRIED ENTERING I.E. MY IMEI AND THE PAGE WOULD JUST REFRESH I'M GLAD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE.
