Encoding Music

I have the C500 and a new 256 MiniSD card (from the MoDaCo shop I will just add ^_^ ) and I wanted to use my new C500 as an MP3 player.

However, what would be the best rate to encoding the tracks ? In the past I have used mp3 @ 128bit on my PC, but could I lower this and would it still sound OK on the C500 ?

Also, what about wma's ? are they any good ? If yes, what quality ?

.wma gives 'better' compression than mp3 - hence smaller file. u can hear the difference if u encode higher than 128 but with the default 'phones it is not worth it, IMHO. dont go lower, though!
