Guest PrettyUgly Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 well, how do emulators run on the moto mpx220. most new phones coming out have a multipress issue. my phones are used primarily for entertainment so i have to have something good on games. so do the emulators play at full speed. does the pocketsnes run at a decent enough speed?? i cant imagine playing snes games on a cell phone. maybe we might get a picodrive with sound also. running emulators is the only reason im waiting on the mpx 220 and havent already jumped on the new audiovox 5600 phone.
Guest gsr264 Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 gimme until monday and my mini sd arrives. I'll let you know then
Guest johnkfb Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 It's a little late, but pocketSNES freezes, as is well-known. SNES emulators will still probably slow the processor way down if you turn sound on. smartNES is good, I'd say I can play mario with 90-95% speed when sound and music are playing, now if only they would fix the multiple keys issue! I'd say we have a ways ahead of us until we can buy a phone based on emulating ability.
