Pass-Through Internet has disappeared!

Hey guys,

I stopped using pass-through a while back because it was a pain to keep switching between it and gprs. I'm trying to get it working again now but it's totally disappeared (although it did appear briefly about 5 mins ago..then promptly vanished again).

In Data Connections, under "Work Connection" there is only "Automatic" now.

I did some messing with the settings after reading around some forums but I think it's back to how it was - in "The Internet" there is "Orange CSD WAP", "Orange WAP" & "Orange GPRS".

Can someone tell me the settings for a Pass-Through connection, or what I might've done to make it disappear?

ok i got Pass through back by rebooting the phone and re-syncing, and selecting "Work" for "My desktop connects to:" in the Data Connections options.

I've applied these settings but my phone still wants to connect over GPRS. What am I doing wrong?

ok, now I'm getting somewhere. In IE I told it not to automatically detect settings and to use "Work", and that connects ok, but I'm trying to get MSN to work. I've managed it before - how come it keeps trying to go thru GPRS now? ^_^

The internet connection spinner should be 'Pass through connection' and it only appears during an active activesync session.

e200 assuming c500 is the same.

Settings->More->Data Connections(2) Internet Connection= Pass through connection

When I'm not connected to my PC vioa ActiveSync it asks if I want to use GPRS instead. Works a treat.

Cheers guys - I've managed to set Pass Through up ok now and it works fine with IE, but MSN still wants to use GPRS...any ideas?

Just tried my MSN and it's using Passthrough - can't see any option to change it either.
