I Have Retired My MPX 200..Its Now My Sport MP3 Player

It was a good phone while it lasted. I was waiting patiently for the MPX 220 until this Cingular exclusive came about. So I decided to go to my ATT store and just "Look" at the SMT 5600. I was pleasantly surprised.

It was much sturdier than I expected (looked flimsy in the pictures). It felt great, has the 3 things that would have made the MPX 200 perfect (bluetooth, the 850 band and a reliable headset connection). Lots of storage space and Media Player 10 with the playsforsure tag didn't hurt.

As for the camera/camcorder, I could have cared less, BUT its nice and I think that the camera produces good enough pictures. If I really want to take great pics I have a digital camera.

All in all, I decided to grab one and if nothing else utilize the 30 day trial. Given the issues I have read about regarding the MPX 220, I think this will be a keeper.

Yeah... I have heard bout the mpx220... seems like it's not a good buy for now... many flaws... smt500? hmm... never heard of that where I come from...

oh... in malaysia we don't get these cool phones... the mpx200 was just released here about a month ago!!! and it has been in the us for, how long? sigh...
