Hi Folks,

Differences:

* SDA comes with Cleartype enabled - the screen looks "blurry" and not sharp (I don't like it)

* SDA comes with a carrying case instead of the 16 MB MiniSD - I think the case is more valueable

* The display of my SPV C500 is more brilliant than the display of my SDA.

* You can change the right soft-key within the menu.

* The silver part of the cover ist made of metal.

* The joystick is much better than the SPV control "thing".

* The registry seems to be locked but you can install every application (which doesn't use registry entries). The "known" decerts don't work.

* The phone comes completely unlocked.

* Pricetag is 369,90 EUR at T-Mobile stores without a contract. Internet-prices will be 300 - 350 EUR I think.

I have the C500 and prefer the looks of it (think it looks smarter), but they both look great!

Nice to see them compared, and in good detail (had looked at a comparison that a guy named Lutz had done, but your comparison of photos was a lot better imo)...

ok, plantagoo has tested the release version of the sda with tokitori and he has confirmed that the gapi issue is non existent!!! now thats very good news for all the gamers out there - a smartphone with joystick and no gapi issue....

That sounds good, but without t-mobil branding it would be much better. I'll keep my C500 ... or maybe on the 5th of November I will make myself a belated birtday present with the i-mate SP3i ^_^/

I see expansys.com has yet another variant of this phone called the imate 3i. Will it have this screen or the one that's on the SPV C500? I like this phone but I want as clear a screen as possible.
