Impossible to install softwares

I can't install softwares anymore on my SPV. When I launch the installation prog on the PC, everything works fine, then it asks me to look at the phone if something needs to be configured. And so when the phone should ask me where I want to install the new software, it simply goes back to home screen.

Did anybody have the same problem and solve it other way than hard reset?

I've had this a few times

check the IPSMWindowsAppMgrInstall

Empty it then switch off and reboot.

The install should work then.

I have had this with every app I have tried to install except for those on the original sd card. When installing from the pc it always seems to copy the file to the phone but not invoke the installation process on the phone. Once 'installed' from the PC I have always had to navigate to the IPSM/Windows/AppMgr/Install directory using ALL-explorer and click on the relevant file to get it to complete installation.

All was fine until the trial period of ALL-explorer ran out. Without thinking bought full version and 'installed'. Had no way to navigate the file to complete installation! 1/2 an hour on the phone to 2 people at orange who both swore the problem lay with all the individual software developers... not the phone's/ activesync installation procedure and I had to hang up before exploding. Anyway, found my own way around this - removed trial ALL-explorer, changed the date to the first of the year, put my original sd in and installed the trial version of ALL-explorer. Then could navigate to manually install the full version I had bought and then changed the date back.

Now back where I was with a phone that I can install things on, even if I have to do a manual workaround... but at least it works! Just know if I ask orange to help me again they *may* solve it but will definitely make something else worse... :(
