Guest gsr264 Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Just tested the Yeti engine (found in the games forum) and got a high of 48FPS!! The average was around 30fps. Now if you compare that to the mpx200 and the avg 20fps and high of 28... pretty big gains.
Guest midnight Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Just as a comparison, highest ive got out of c500 is 62fps, and average is around the same at about 30-35ish, quite common to be over 40fps though
Guest gsr264 Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 well over 40 was common, and i got 48 after like 30 seconds... ill let you know if i get higher...
Guest midnight Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 just turn around 180 on the c500 and you get 60.9 ^_^ just found one place i can get between 81 and 83fps :D interesting to compare the two though, cos they are practically the same processor, but, the 262k colour screen 'could' slow the mpx220 down slightly, but then, its supposed to have multimedia acceleration
Guest gsr264 Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 yeah I'm trying to bump it up but that's the highest. I'm getting an avg 32Fps indoors though. Midnight you know of any games/apps that utilize the 626k screen?
Guest midnight Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 err, i wouldnt think any at the moment 262K colours requires more CPU usage, more ram, more disk space etc. and with very little gain gaphically to be honest.
Guest AvWijk Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 I have a Mitac Mio 8390, let me try it ^_^

I thought Windows Mobile's maximum was 65k colors - so if you have a 262k display Windows Mobile will always limiting it to 65k colors?
Guest AvWijk Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 26 fps average speed, while my Mio 8390 runs at 300Mhz, it dissapoints me..
