categories in spv c500

hi all

i have a spv c500 and in the contats it has 3 categories created by default: business, miscellanous and personal.... i would like to know if it's possible to remove that categories 'cause i don't need them anymore.... if it possible can u telm me how to do it pls?

Delete the categories in Outlook and they will be removed from the phone on next sync.

If any contacts still have the category associated with them, they will still show up. You need to remove the categories from the individual contacts as well.

but personal, miscellanous and business doesn't exist in my outlook!

Do any of your contacts (even one) still have those categories listed even though they are not in your master category list.

In Outlook, view by category...if any contacts have those categories, it will show up categorized there. You need to remove the category from each.
