Guest kandeman Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 This night my battery was really low and when I charged my phone and booted it up it kept freezing @ the hellomoto flower. - I've tried removing the sim and battery , no effect - I've tried booting it while holding the action button and still just the motorola flower pops up , not even a master reset question Help me pls because i miss my mpx200 ^_^
Guest squall Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 firstly fully charge the battery, it does the phone harm to let it drain to low, then try the hard reset again. there is no reason it shouldnt work so it may be the way you are trying to do it
Guest kandeman Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 and how is the correct way to do it ?
Guest squall Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 click on the words< hard reset >for instructions etc
Guest squall Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 try again, its your only hope really, and there is no reason it shoulnd work
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 One trick is to get to the Erase Memory screen then choose No sometimes this kicks the phone back into it's normal booting.
Guest squall Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 when you press the power and action button thats whats displayed, normally
Guest kandeman Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Lol, it was charging with the power off and suddenly it started vibrating. So i tried the master rest and it's resetting ! I'll keep you informed..
Guest kandeman Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 My hone is working , I am so happy , but all my programs are gone :D Time to install sprite backup ^_^
Guest otacon Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 hmm... I realized that everytime a problem happens, a hard reset would usually do the trick... interesting...

Guest ronny Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 My hone is working , I am so happy , but all my programs are gone :P Time to install sprite backup ^_^ good to hear that your phone is already working. :D like Squall said, it's not a good thing to let your battery fully drain out (as in, the phone turns off by itself) sometimes the phone wo'nt be able to shutdown properly and thats where your problems start, like corrupt files, lost files etc... and i thinks it's also not good for the battery to flatten out. :P
