Guest kiaman Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 I am new to all this smartphone stuff, and have only today tried to get the phone to connect to my PC. I am running Windows XP, with SP2 update, anfd have installed outlook and active sync, but all the program does is say connecting all the time, and will not connect to the phone. I have looked through all the help files, and the manual, but can not find out why it will not connect to the phone. Please help me sort this out.

Guest evans.rhys.gavin Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 a mate of mine is having the exact problem hes bought a new pc xp ready and so on but it just dont seem to work its for an original spv so maybe the active sync is outdated going to try my c500 disc in his comp anybody think this would work thanks :wink:
Guest ADG Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Had my C500 2 days. All's well except I can't sync to my PC, running XP, with SP2. Syncs fine to my laptop, without SP2. Get error message "Command line option syntax error. Type Command /? for Help." Have uninstalled SP2 & Outlook and Activesync from PC, and reinstalled Outlook and Activesync, but still get the same error message. Orange level 3 tech support are baffled. Forgot - have excluded activesync from Norton Firewall. Can anybody help, please? NOW SORTED, WITH HELP FROM ORANGE TECH SUPPORT.
