Bluetooth and HTC Typhoon/Audiovox 5600/SPV C500 Question

Anyone tried to get Microsoft Streets and Trips 2005 w/Smartphone software working on their mobile? I get a message on my Audiovox 5600 that when trying to start the GPS that the bluetooth manager is not microsoft, and therefore no GPS capabilities.... Also there is not settings page to allow selection of COM ports, etc. I have a standard Emtac Bluetooth GPS, and it is paired fine with the mobile. I also have the serial port via BT enabled. Had it working fine with Mapopolis beta and GPS. Are the bluetooth managers on all the HTC variants the same? Guessing it's not a microsoft manager, but 3rd party. Any help appreciated.... Would love to use tomtom on smartphone here in USA, but not available.

Thanks,

UPDATE: Did a soft reset, and seems to work now....Nothing changed in settings, etc. except reset of course. Sensing bluetooth is going to be kind of quirky.
