Mucked up audio on my C500

Ahh what have I done.

To be honest nothing I can think of, but I now have a loud static crackle for about a second before some audio files are played.

It seems to play before the alarm comes on some times, other times before the voice dial prompt.

Please not another hard reset.

Out of interest what does sprite backup, backup? Will I have to re-install some software or will everything be as it was before, after using it?

Sounds like a hard reset is needed.. :D

And Sprite backup backs up personal data and system data like all the software you have installed etc. ^_^

sprite is like norton ghost.. its backs up everything..

so when u do a restore its like it was at the time of the backup.. including all sms/mms messages etc etc

I've done the hard reset and restore.

I was very pleased with Sprite Backup

I haven't heard the sound yet, but I'll let you know if I do.

I got the same on my c500 i think that it has something to do with voice dial. I did a hard reset and it was gone but has soon has i tryed to use voice dial again it was back.

Have you installed the new orange ROM update?

It might be worth it.

I haven't had the problem back yet.

I agree it seems to be related to the voice dial.
