Guest manolex Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 Search for MPx200 unlock in eBay... 15 dolars!!!
Guest squall Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 well thats actually damn good, i doubt very much that its genuine. The only way i know work for sure is www.imei-check.co.uk If you post the ebay link i will have a look, but imei-check is the way to go, you wont get your phone sim unlocked for free
Guest ferret Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 I'm with squall on this, I'd rather pay the extra for peace of mind.
Guest ronny Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 Don't risk your money on some never heard site, i'd really go for the site that has many good feedback from much satisfied customers. ^_^
Guest bendaryl Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 I think Manolex is on to something, myself. This phone is now past its prime as the new models are being released around the globe, and I think the price for unlocking it should start to come down. $10 or $15 is reasonable (free would be great though is kind of wishful thinking), but $40 is half the price of the phone now! There are places where people can get this phone for less than $100, so it seems a little crazy to pay $40 to unlock it (though I think a lot of people who still have some kicking around have already unlocked all of them). By the way, I have an old Mpx200 that I have been thinking about unlocking, and if anyone can give me any hints about the SIM-unlock code (how many digits they are, what possible ranges of numbers are recognized, what other numbers are relevant in extrapolating the code such as the IMEI number, etc.) I will try to develop a system for unlocking and provide anything I develop free of charge to anyone interested. I'm not about to drop $40 to unlock it, though.
Guest beersoft Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 you want to talk to florin about that the normal choices for unlocking are a) random bloke on ebay - may or may not work ^_^ ask your network provider - normaly means paying off the contract + unlock fee c) www.imei-check.co.uk - works 100% and only takes 5 mins d) ask moto for the code - this has never worked you make your choice, and you pays your money later Owen
