Guest joelb69 Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 Does exactly what it says on the tin, any one else with the same problem? is it a problem? Joel
Guest pisquee Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 mobiles get warm when making a call. batteries get warm when they are being charged. Do the two things at once and the heat is gonna build up. Is not a problem.
Guest Chaser81 Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 Working in a mobile phone shop I get a lot of people commenting on mobile phones getting hot. I honestly think that a lot of it is psychosematic (hope I spelt that right). If you talk on a phone for an hour, whilst holding it to your head the whole time, its going to get hot. Your body is hot, what do you expect? If you want a more technical explanation though, Pisquee's answer sounded spot on.
Guest pisquee Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 i don't think so much holding it to your head, but certainly anything that you hold in your hand is gonna get warm.
Guest olly_k Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 It's not so much that you are warming the phone up - when cupping the mobile you are trapping any heat generated which will build up. Try charging and speaker phone to 150 or whatever but leave on surface to see if this is still an issue?
