Need Help Understanding Where/How The 64MB ROM Is Used?

So it has 64 MB of ROM. Where is it? Why can I only access the flash? It is supposed to have 32 MB of flash? Any explanation is appreciated.

ROM is Read Only Memory, so I would imagine this is where the OS and all the Pre-Installed applications are stored on the phone. It is not an area of memory you can save things to if thats what you mean, so you cant "access it" as such.
