New SPV owner! Please help

I've just bought an SPV and I must say I've been busy for days playing around with all the progs available. I have 2 questions. Is there anyway to put a shortcut to a program on the home page? Also I have some screensaver files but I can't seem to find a screensaver on the SPV. Am I correct?

There is a way of putting a shortcut to a program on the homescreen, but it involves editing xml, here is a guide to xml and homescreens.

As for your second question, there is no screensaver on the phone except for the black one that you see... ^_^
