Im trying to connect my c500 to my bluetooth on my dell-xps and I can't get it to work to save my self!!!! I've tried every thing I can think of and it still says that the com ports are in use.

This problem isn't just on my XPS machine but on my compaq presario r3000 as well. I am starting to think its got to be an active sysnc problem because my bluetooth gps device along with my headset works fine both with my laptop & xps along with my c500 smartphone.

Specs

====

Both PCs are running WIndowsXP SP2

And both have Linksys Bluetooth USB Adapter Class 1

Get rid of SP2 and you'll probably find it works ^_^

SP2 buggers up most people's BT

Disable the firewall for the bluetooth connection.

Under Control Panel, Windows Firewall, Advanced, windows connection settings. Remove the tick from Bluetooth Network Connection.
