How To Remove xtended ROM for Mitac 8380?

After installing the extended ROM, I realised that chinese input capability is somewhat crippled and the unit hangs alot more. Is there any ways to uninstall the extended? I tried "formatting" the IPSM in the ROM menu but after rebooting, the rom is still there!? Any help?

It will easily hang there if you press keypad frequently while startup...
