Guest SMYKUL Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 @Mike Thanks ^_^ . The code you provided was VERY useful, i had never programmed for smartphones and this helped me alot ! Everyone else, 36 downloads and no bugs/requests ?. I don't know whether that is a complement or an insult, lol  . p.s. The web address for my website is not worth the bother, it was my first attempt at flash and was done 3 years ago. I will update it as soon as i have time (My life outside of MoDaCo is currently being taken up by college  ).
Guest lukeap69 Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 is this for 2003 OS also? how about 2002? lukeap 69
Guest SMYKUL Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 At current it is only for 2003, you could try running it with the evb runtimes installed but i don't know if they support .net
Guest scottb Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 Is this application supposed to keep the screen lit until you disable it or does it go by the settings in the phone's power options?
Guest SMYKUL Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 It Should keep the screen lit until it is closed, at which point it should revert to the devices settings. why, are you having problems ?
Guest scottb Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 No, no problems at the moment. I tried another program called torch.exe and it did not stay lit. If this one does I will give it a try. Thanks. Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest ultimasnake Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 well i found some minor bugs fade modes 1-4 when on any fade mode pressing another fade mode key seems to freeze the old one up to the moment you press that same key again ^_^ an idea for you why not make buttons 1-2 ( R ) 4-5 ( G ) 7-8 ( B ) RGB channel changers.. thus letting people change the color of the screen to there own taste :D
Guest SMYKUL Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 Nice Idea !! I Will implement this as soon as i get back from holiday. the fades freezing is not a bug, but if it is annoying you it can be changed, it is simply set up so that when a key is pressed a variable is set (for the diff modes) and the timer is enabled, when a button that can start the timer is pressed again it toggles.
Guest SMYKUL Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 New Version Upcoming ! Managed to distribute 1 beta version at the meet, lol. at the moment i am having problems with a new feature but it will hopefully be out toward the start of next week. In the mean time, if you use this program alot, you can PM me to get the beta version for testing(already one bug found) the new version supports custom colours (using RGB from a black screen) and some other fixes/optimisations. The final version should support saving of custom colours to a sequence (like disco mode) and any bugs reported will be fixed. .
Guest uzi_999 Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 i think someone already asked for this but can a graphical display be made for media player...u know like the ones u get on PC... im sure the c500's 200+mhz processer is powerful enough
Guest SMYKUL Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Sorry uzi_999, i only just read your post  . I have had alot on recently but i will see what i can do for the next ver, the only problem i have with a graphical overlay (posh) atm is that it will be buggy like the info screen when changing colour. Maybe i will have a go at porting it to embedded vb, or creating my own control to handle it.... we shall see. Thanks for the feedback :D Posted from my brand new 400mhz iPAQ with 64mb RAM
