Guest dbiallos Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Working fine in the morning, then I noticed it had switched itself off over lunch. Tried to turn back on - but nothing!! Plugged it into the charger and the red LED lights up, but still nothing. Has anyone else had this problem?

Should test using another battery before sending off to HTC (called them up - Ph: 08712-230217) and was told I should send C500 in and they will repair or replace within 2-3 days.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted October 26, 2004 Report Posted October 26, 2004 This sounds stupid...but take out the battery and leave it out for an hour. Then put it back in and it should charge. I had the same thing happen on my e200 after the battery drained to nothing. (twice). This fixed it both times.
Guest dbiallos Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Got an email from the people at HTC - apparantly they had to replace the motherboard. They are running some tests on it now and will send it back shortly. Thanks for all the tips.
