Guest PrettyUgly Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 i just bought an mpx 220 yesterday. my coworker has an audiovox 5600. we was talking about how cool it would be if we could play the nes or gb emulators over our bluetooth connection. is something like that possible?? i know kalemsoft has an nes emulator to play over bluetooth, so is it possible with the ms smartphone??
Guest squall Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 no its not, it would require recoding of each rom, not just the emluator. Alienware are working on a bluetooth game i think
Guest bartdesign Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 i dont understand this. bluetooth on the ms smartphone should open up a multiplayer environment. but no single developer has Bt multiplayer functions in their games! kumite should but that is shelved now. so there are no bt games planned in the future ^_^ since the release of the c500 i got 5 friends who bought it.so i can play with lots of mates. slotcar racer would be the perfect game for bt. i just dont understand why they cant do it. even nokias can do bt games :D
Guest Gorskar Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 I dont think kumite is shelved, afiak the developers are still planning on releasing it. Still, Midnight will prob tell you himself when he sees this post. I'll bet that as soon as one game is released supporting bluetooth then it'll open the floodgates...
Guest bartdesign Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 I just don't understand why there is no intrest on this subject, I mailed the developers of skyforce, and they we include bt support in skyforce2. But i hope that somebody else before sky2 comes out sees the light of bt multiplayer.
Guest midnight Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Errr, Kumite is definitely on hold, the C500 hardware aint up to it i'm afraid ^_^ and C500 is easily the biggest seller, so foolish to release it just for the other phones, that would just be a waste of time/money
Guest Gorskar Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Ah I see. You make good logic, tis a shame that the c500 while excellent as a smartphone is really not a gaming phone... I'm holding out for the mpx220 now, as I think that phone might actually see the light of day sometime, and although it has its bad points, gaming isnt one of them ^_^
Guest bartdesign Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 i dont have problems, gaming with my c500. as long as u dont use the joystick it works perfect. keypad is great. Im happier gaming with this one than with my spv classic. BjB
