Red faces at Orange over blue photos

LONDON (Reuters) - Mobile phone firm Orange says its picture messaging service can "make someone feel really special."

But when one customer called the company helpline she received some pictures that made her feel outraged instead.

What she expected was a photo from a customer service representative to make sure her camera phone was working. What she got was a series of close-ups his genitals.

"This ex-employee sent some indecent photographs of himself. He was dismissed within a week," an Orange spokeswoman said on Wednesday.

"We've looked into the matter, collated the information and handed it over to the police."

Worldwide camera phone sales are rising fast and expected to total 150 million this year.

Wonder what prompted him to do it? Maybe she had a really sexy voice and he couldnt resist it?

Some people are just plain weird though. I work in a mobile phone shop and I once had a guy return a motorola T720I on O2 Pay and Go within 14 days because he said it was faulty. When I was going through the phone to diagnose the fault, I checked his "My Pictures" folder and he had three pictures of his genitals on the phone (I at least presume they were his!). Couldnt believe some people could be that sad, and wouldnt you wipe the memory before taking it back to the shop?? Plain sick if you ask me!

Oh i've got some horror stories that I could tell you, not sure I can share them though in case any of my customers are reading and realise what they had done!
