Guest david_dawkins Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 I wonder if someone can help please. I am trying to find the alarm clock on my SPV C500, and suspect it might be in Settings->Date&Time. However, when I select "Date and Time" it says "Error: The settings could not be opened". Any idea why this could be? (and where is the alarm clock? ^_^ ) Thanks! Dave D [email protected]
Guest Vector Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Yes you are looking in the right place ^_^ This problem is usually caused by corruption to the registry, and i think the only way to fix is to do a hard reset :D
Guest pisquee Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 NO! This is a bug, and is detailed in a nother thread and in the bugs list. it happens when you set your date to display as 21.10.04 in regional settings any other display type and you can get into the date/time menu. This bug has not been fixed with the new update (have just tried it)

Guest david_dawkins Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Thanks guys. Wish I'd seen the regional settings thing before doing the hard reset. Either way, it's working again. Dave D
