Guest djpredator Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 This is the first time I've switched to a smartphone, and still think it was a smart move. I am only still used to my old Sony Ericsson t610 and that's why I got some questions about the SPV. How can I when talking to someone put this person on hold and search in my contacts to give him some info about one of my contacts ? On the T610 I could just browse my phone. How can I send info or a phone number of one of my contacts via SMS. On the T610 I could just send a V-Card but on the SPV I can't find out how to send it straight from my phone. How can I edit my contacts via my PC so I don't have to fill in all the email addresses and other info with my SPV. Any programs anybody suggest... Thnx Steph.
Guest Disco Stu Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Welcome to the forum mate. Calls aren't ended till you press the red button, so you're free to browse the phone without disconnecting. There's a freeware app called "Send Contacts" avalaible from the wonderful Airfagev site here Edit your contacts in Outlook on your PC before syncing to your phone. Easy ^_^
Guest Phil Lee Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 Browsing the phone in call is easiest when you're using the supplied headset or a bluetooth headset. When you're on the Call Progress screen just pree the home key to take you to the home page. You can then browse your phone s normal, looking in contacts, calendar etc. without the call ending.
Guest djpredator Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 Thanx for the help! Very usefull! Still have to get used to the phone, but start to like it more everyday. Cheers, Steph.
