Guest craigp Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 Hi, I have recently purchased a BT Dongle to use Activesync with my C500. After a little fiddling I got it all up and running very nicely. BUT, whenever I go out of range, the connection is dropped and does NOT reconnect when I return to my desk. I used the BTToggle app (http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=99493) to switch BT on and off however I still have to manually load Activesync on the phone and select 'Menu' - 'Connect via Bluetooth' every time I want to reconnect. I know this isn't a massive burdon but I wonder if anyone knows of an application that can do this in one keypress (like BTToggle)? Thanks in advance! Craig
Guest James Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 like THIS? EDIT: sorry, this is not what you ment is it.
Guest beanj007 Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 If you find this, it would be a GODSEND. Anyone? I downloaded something called BTAutoSync, but it drains the CRAP out of your memory. I'd rather just have a button press to autosync...
Guest merguez Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 I got 2 Speed dials, and i need to press only 4 keys to connect via BT. My Setup : BT Switch bound to 4, ActiveSync bound to 44. I long press 4 once : it turns on BT, and twice it opens up ASync. Then hit menu and 3 or 4. :)
Guest Powerfull Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 I used BTAutoSync and Automatic Keylock to enabled BT when the phone is plugged. And I press nothing to sycn with Activesync, it's very handy. Try it
Guest Tech Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 cmon - it only takes a few secs to click a few buttons...i do it all the time and im not complainin :) dont be lazy - do some finger excersize lol
Guest roma0803 Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 (edited) For this it would come handy if there was some sort of macro tool. This way you can program the different actions like enabeling BT, wait a couple of secs, do AS over BT under one key. Edited August 22, 2005 by roma0803
