Guest Navec245 Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 Storage>windows>appmgr My phone is the SMT 5600 I am having a problem deleting sub folders of programs that I have removed (x-bar and several others) in the application manager folders. I get an error message stating not enough memory and having the correct rights to delete a file. Anyone notice that? Is a hard reset required?
Guest Disco Stu Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 I wouldn't think that was necessary. Either try rebooting the phone first, or renaming the files to .old or something then rebooting (then deleting.) I always delete them from the PC and never have problems (E200, C500)
Guest Navec245 Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 This is very odd. I went and did a hard reset, installed a few programs back, removed and I STILL can't delete the empty folders in the above path. I still get an error message asking if I have the rights, sufficient memory and ensuring the file is not read only. I tried looking in the root windows directory and cant find a file that the error message was referring to. Please help.
