It sends your username and password in the clear.........

Now that gmail allows POP3 access I don't see why this program is needed. Furethermore:

Be aware that the WAP protocol is not secure, unlike HTTPS. That means your account name and password are sent in clear text, and EVERYONE (e.g. some gateway) in between your WAP phone and your server will be able to read your account name and password directly. This is possible, especially the gateway may have logged every requests/responses go through it.

So use it at your own risk...

with my orange spv it doesn't work. i understand that it required a ssl connection. I don't have that option in the menu. I receive the following error: "an error occurred while downloading message. verify that you have network coverage and that your account information is correct and try again. "
