Guest Lojt Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 I put it on my website here: http://xde.dk/gmail but it doesn't seem to work properly. It say page cannot be found when trying to log in.
Guest the_ugly_north Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 It sends your username and password in the clear.........
Guest Goatie Posted February 26, 2005 Report Posted February 26, 2005 Now that gmail allows POP3 access I don't see why this program is needed. Furethermore: Be aware that the WAP protocol is not secure, unlike HTTPS. That means your account name and password are sent in clear text, and EVERYONE (e.g. some gateway) in between your WAP phone and your server will be able to read your account name and password directly. This is possible, especially the gateway may have logged every requests/responses go through it. So use it at your own risk...
Guest florin83 Posted February 26, 2005 Report Posted February 26, 2005 with my orange spv it doesn't work. i understand that it required a ssl connection. I don't have that option in the menu. I receive the following error: "an error occurred while downloading message. verify that you have network coverage and that your account information is correct and try again. "
